I don’t like the risks of creating a Single Drive Group, but I could see one day using one drive for backup and another for other work.įirst in Control Panel:File Services enable AFP service. I decided I like having a much more reliable backup - at least for now.

  • Single Drive Group data loss probability: 1/5 (1 - 0.9*0.9) - Assuming data is striped so that if either drive dies the entire data group is lost.
